about

A much more drone oriented entry. Stripped back and bare boned. Personally the midpoint is the highlight of the track, a burst of apathetic gravitas, turning the track from soft, to a little more gritty. It came about as the tape was recorded over a few times, with different song ideas. The mid section is a small piece of another track, that didn't make it to the final cut. The second half of the track introduces a much darker entry tone to the album.

During the process of recording the tape for digital distribution, the two tracks "Streetcar" and "Zeitgeist Talks" were merged into one. To maintain how the original record was distributed, this error will stay in the compilation. It is quite clear where the first ends and the second starts.

Similar to the inspiration of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" by Edward Albee, "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams was another, more secondary inspiration for the album, hence the first title of the track.
